Today, Longines revisits a model typical of the 1930s – characterised by the aesthetic of its sector dial – to bring forth The Longines Heritage Classic.
With a streamlined design, this new creation perfectly respects the 1930s spirit of the piece that inspired it. In particular, it reflects the aesthetic of its sector dial in a subtle balance of colours and lines. A silvered opaline disk, with a glow that emphasises the blued steel hands, stands out at its centre. The hour circle, adorned with Arabic numerals and hour markers, appears on a satin-finished silvered disk. Another significant detail of the dial is the small seconds counter in striated silvered opaline.
The Longines Heritage Classic is driven by a new exclusive calibre (L893.5), featuring a silicon balance spring. With this piece, the winged hourglass brand once again illustrates its ability to honour its past and to add a new timepiece to the Heritage line that will thrill Longines lovers.
